Talking minimal shoes with JMac

I sat down with one of my favorite trainers and Olympic hopeful Jon McDowell to talk about minimal shoes. When Jon first came to see me he was in stiff, thick shoes and even used orthotics. But as a sprinter and hurdler, it is vitally important for Jon to use his feet to their fullest potential; that cannot happen when you wear stiff, thick shoes.
