Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a general term for a therapeutic treatment procedure that involves multiple advances of a very thin needle into the muscle in the area of the body which produces pain and typically contains a ‘Trigger Point’. Positive results are apparent within 2-4 treatment sessions, but can vary depending on the cause and duration of the symptoms, and overall health of the athlete. Dry needling is an effective treatment for acute and chronic pain, rehabilitation from injury, and even pain and injury prevention, with very few side effects.

Muscle Management

At The Sports Pod, we have analyzed several soft tissue management methods such as Active Release Therapy, Fascial Distortion Model, Fascial Stretch Therapy, Functional Release and general massage techniques. We then developed a comprehensive system of soft tissue assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation designed to ensure the highest quality athlete care. Using these techniques, our Movement Specialists are able to improve the quality of an athlete’s movement, as well as to promote joint health and longevity.

Deep Tissue Sports Massage

We provide our athletes with Quality Deep Tissue Sports Massage with intention and results in mind. Our Soft Tissue Specialist work hand in hand with our Movement Specialist creating a team devoted to one singular focus, providing the highest quality athlete care. Our deep tissue massage technique specifically targets muscles that will result in addressing your root movement issues.
